Woodside halts work at Kimberley gas hub site
ABC
Woodside has agreed to halt drilling work at the site of a proposed $30 billion gas hub near Broome in Western Australia.
Goolarabooloo man Richard Hunter launched legal proceedings in the Supreme Court citing concerns about the process to grant access to the land at James Price Point.
During a hearing in Perth this morning, the company agreed not to drill at the site until a final outcome is reached, but it’s allowed to continue clearing work.
