Join us for a social pre-event to participate in a bird log before a screening of our seagrass training video and the opportunity to ask as many questions as you like without the time pressure of the tides. Everyone is welcome and no previous experience is necessary.
Stay on for a Bring Your Own dinner using the cooking facilities available. For those volunteers wishing to attend seagrass monitoring the following morning, accommodation at the Broome Bird Observatory (BBO) can be booked here.
Learn about dugong feeding trails and fascinating sea creatures. Find out how to contribute to an important data set that helps us monitor the health of Roebuck Bay! Read more about the Broome Community Seagrass Monitoring Project here.
