Alex grew up in a small country town in the southwest. She majored in Conservation and Wildlife Biology at Murdoch University and worked as a silvicultural forester for 5 years before starting with EK. She relocated to Broome after visiting a few times on holidays and falling in love with the magic of the Kimberley. She has a strong passion for conservation and loves to explore the natural environment across different landscapes. Alex is currently working on EK’s Kimberley Seedbanking Project and Wattleseed Collective.
