It’s nearly time for us to have the EK stall at the Courthouse markets again and we would love some more volunteers helping out on the stall, or driving the market trailer.
EK Director, Martin, will give an update on our work for any new or existing volunteers on Tuesday 3rd April, 5:30-6:30 pm. Wine (or beer if you prefer) and cheese will be provided. Everyone is welcome; please RSVP for catering purposes by 12pm Tuesday 3rd April.
Our stall is very important as the interface between our work in protecting the Kimberley and the general public, who we want support from. The more members and supporters we have, the more we can influence government and industry to do the right thing.
We have experienced volunteers on our stall who can provide guidance in interacting with the public and support for new volunteers. The more volunteers we have, the less of a load there is for everyone and it can be a great experience to let people know how special the Kimberley and how we can protect it.
If you can spare a couple of hours per month on our stall please let us know.
