Michael is an environmental lawyer based in Perth. He was the first Principal Solicitor of the Environmental Defenders Office (WA), and has since worked in environmental law and policy roles in government and academia. He holds a BA/LLB (UWA), Masters of Environmental Law (ANU) and PhD in Law (UWA).
