Payton is originally from Colorado and has recently moved to Australia. Her love of the outdoors drew her to its extraordinary natural environments. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Science (GIS) and Energy Policy and has worked across a range of spatial analysis and environmental projects, including catchment management, post-wildfire restoration, and flood risk mapping. Passionate about conservation, Payton joined Environs Kimberley as a Project Officer and is supporting projects that help protect the Kimberley’s unique landscapes and ecosystems while working alongside Traditional Owners and partners.
