Community Organiser

Sophie was born in Derby and joined Environs Kimberley to work on the Frack Free Kimberley campaign. She holds a Bachelor of Biological Science, majoring in Wildlife Conservation, from UWA and since graduating has worked as a community campaigner with the Pew Charitable Trusts on the Kimberley Like Nowhere Else campaign, engaging the Perth community and encouraging people to take action to protect the Martuwarra Fitzroy River.

She is now working directly on a campaign, in the Kimberley, and is excited to bring what she has learned from her previous work. Sophie is a keen theatre and acting enthusiast who loves meeting new people and exploring new places. She is especially looking forward to exploring the Country and region she was born in. Between the new plants and animals to discover and a growing interest in nature photography, there is plenty to look forward to.
