Environs Kimberley is proud to support sustainable, community led businesses which support social, environmental, and cultural outcomes alongside a sustainable business model. In partnership with Impact Seed, and through on the ground activation, we aim to support the development of new and existing social enterprises in the Kimberley to achieve these outcomes.

Now we are calling business leaders and innovators to join a leading Broome based social impact agri-business on its growth journey.

Waste Not Food Recycling, one of the leading social enterprises in our regional development program, is taking the next growth step after establishing their commercial facilities, and now looking for business leaders and innovators with a passion for seeing Northern Australia develop social and environmental resilience to join their new Advisory Board.

Founder and CEO Lauren Bell is an award winning Agrifutures entrepreneur and 2020 recipient of Kimberley Regional Economic Development Grant. Waste Not takes waste food/organics which would otherwise end in landfill to feed the Black Soldier Fly colonies, producing a high grade feed protein and organic fertiliser for the ag industry, and creating social impact job and training opportunities as part of its social enterprise mission.

EOI period closes the 26th of February.  For more information see here
