In response to uncertain times, Environs Kimberley has moved the 2020 Environs Kimberley Art Auction – Broome’s premier art event – online and will hold a mini live auction.

The virtual event, which will run from 30 July – 9 August, will, once again, showcase some of the best artworks the Kimberley has to offer — just this time hosted on a professional auction platform and available online so everyone can get involved in the action.

As restrictions have since eased significantly within WA, we will now also hold a live event on the 7th August at the Broome Convention Centre, in combination with the online auction, to help fill the gap in EK fundraising capacity, and the Broome social calendar.

The live event will be a scaled back version of the usual EK Art Auction extravaganza, but there will be the same promise of stunning art, a fully stocked bar, an indefatigable auctioneer, and good times!

Together, these events provide a rare opportunity to see such a diversity of quality Kimberley art works in one place, and available for purchase for a good cause. Works from popular Kimberley artists such as Jimmy Pike (dec), Jacky Cheng, Helicopter, Lucy Loomoo, Suzy French, Clifton Bieundurry, Sonia Kurarra, Butcher Cherel (dec), Edwin Lee Mulligan, Ian Mcconnell and many more…

Everyone is invited to check out the works, take part in the bidding, and generously support these events. All proceeds raised go towards the conservation work of Environs Kimberley, as well as directly to support Kimberley artists and Art Centres through these difficult times.
