The Frack Free Kimberley alliance, Environs Kimberley, Lock the Gate and Frack Free WA’s investigations team have revealed new documents from Black Mountain that show their proposed fracking wastewater ponds could overflow in excessive rainfall.
This could contaminate the surrounding environment and precious waterways like the Martuwarra Fitzroy River with radioactive materials and heavy metals.
Black Mountain’s own documents show they use toxic chemicals, including mutagenic substances, for fracking.
